All Tecnotessile’s machines have been designed with a common objective: to realise a machine with high productivity, flexibility and with reduced maintenance costs. The cotton machine has been transformed into a modern automatic machine by replacing many of the mechanical movements with electronic and pneumatic movements. The advantages of these changes can be quantified in the following terms:

Productivity: The movements obtained through electronic actuators (motors) can be executed at a higher speed compared to the mechanical mechanisms. The sophisticated servo motor control system is able to calculate the ideal motor speeds, to give the best possible production, without compromising the mechanical functions.

Flexibility: The mechanical constraint of having the slur bar, yarn carrier rods, lace rods and fashioning bars connected to the camshaft has been removed. The result is that garments that would be impossible to produce on most traditional cotton machines are now possible. Eg. Locking the yarn into the selvedge, open V-neck, odd course striping.

Reliability: As all of the bars are moved by brushless motors and ballscrews, high reliability and low maintenance is guaranteed. The most complex mechanical parts, subjected to severe wear and requiring the most maintenance are now removed.
